RBS INTERMEDIARY PARTNERS FORUM 2009 - DATES ANNOUNCED
Following the success of last year’s roadshow programme, RBS Intermediary Partners (RBS IP) has unveiled the locations for this year’s PartnersFORUM events.
The full-day events will be held at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on Tuesday 12 May and the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on Tuesday 2 September.
Both events will feature key note speakers including Grenville Turner, Chief Executive of Countrywide, Paul Shearman, Mortgage Proposition Director of Openwork and Chris Pearson, Director of Intermediary Mortgages, Royal Bank of Scotland. The events will focus on providing practical help and guidance through a series of seminar sessions run by industry experts on topics including government-backed shared equity schemes, commercial finance, marketing, buy-to-let, bridging finance and international finance.
The RBS Intermediary PartnersFORUM will also feature special guest speaker Richard West. Richard has spent much of his life in the motor racing business including time as Director of Sponsorship and Marketing at the Williams F1 team and Series Administrator for the British Touring Car Championship.
His session is titled “The Twelve Lessons of Success” highlighting the twelve key behaviours that the highest performing F1 teams display and how they relate to business - based on the research findings he and his co-authors discovered in writing their book “Performance at the Limit – Business Lessons from Formula 1 Motor Racing”.
Graham Felstead, Head of Sales, RBS Intermediary Partners, said: “We know from last year’s events that intermediaries have a real appetite for information, insight and guidance on the future of their industry. We have taken on board the great feedback they gave us last year to refine our events so that they have even greater focus on the topics that they hold close to their hearts. Our unique mixture of key note industry speakers, practical workshops and a world class motivational guest speaker make these events a ‘must’ for advisers who want to stay one step ahead in this rapidly changing environment. I am really looking forward to welcoming more of our business partners to what will be, for delegates, invigorating and worthwhile days.”
